Next Year's IB's

Looks like some of the European national committees are starting to announce their finalists - essentially, a handful of teenagers just found out they're moving to Swaziland next January.

If you're one of them - CONGRATS! Feel free to comment here and I'll try to add you on Facebook, seeing as how you're going to come chill with us here at WK for the next few years.

Do something awesome with the time you have left in your home countries, and we can't wait to see you guys in January!

  2. Hi Diana!

my name is Agnese and I'm a passionate fan of your blog. In ten days I'll have the second stage of the UWC selections here in Italy. I don't know how to prepare myself, as we don't debate at school. what would you suggest me?

    thank you

  3. Lars, congrats on getting in - see you in just a couple months :)

Agnese - I'm not sure how your national committee works, but mine (the US) was definitely not a debate. My only advice for people for interviews is to do some research about the individual schools before getting there, so that you have a reason why a certain school is your first choice and such.

Good luck! Let me know how it goes! :)

  5. Oh no! I'm so sorry... but if there's anything that I believe in, it's that getting turned down for something happens because the world has something bigger and better waiting. Keep your head up, and you'll find something wonderful!
